Mindful breathing
How am I breathing right now? Am I breathing deeply and freely? Am I allowing my lungs to fill with fresh air and energy? Or am I barely breathing? What about exhaling? Am I allowing myself to exhale properly? Perhaps even through my mouth? Inhaling and exhaling symbolically represent, for example, giving and receiving. Ideally, inhaling and exhaling are in balance.
Excessive inhalation can be a sign of suppressed energy. We don't allow ourselves to take up space. Excessive exhalation can represent excessive outward aggression. While reading these lines and paying attention to your breath, you might experience a deep sigh. This is very welcome. Generally, a sigh signifies the release of tension.

In everyday life, we often quickly get caught in spirals of thought. We are surrounded by people who want something from us. We worry about the future and mourn the past. To put it simply, our thoughts and attention are everywhere but in the here and now, where life is unfolding. Right now, in this moment, everything is possible and everything is allowed. Perhaps there is sadness, anger, or fear present? Perhaps a tear wants to flow or a smile wants to flutter across our lips? Everything is welcome. Our breath begins to flow again.

Next time you feel unwell, pay attention to your breathing. What is your inhalation and exhalation like? What is your breathing rate? How deeply are you breathing? It's important not to try to change anything with your mind, but rather to observe and "listen."
By becoming aware of our breath, we return to the present moment.
A "flow" begins again.

Calm returns, peace returns. We take responsibility for our emotional and mental balance. We are the creators of our inner peace, regardless of external circumstances.
With this in mind, I wish you a joyful new year filled with laughter, inspiring encounters, and intimate moments.
Sincerely, Jan
